Some more pictures!

Hey everyone its Justin here once again. Looks like Lauren uploaded some more pictures via facebook, and so I'm throwing them on here for your browsing pleasure! It seems our beloved travelers are having quite the experience over in France and loads of fun. Take a look for yourself,

I'm guessing this is along the D'Day Beaches, but there was no image caption. Quite beautiful if I do say so myself.

Here we have the normandy memorial

A little view of Normandy Beach

Mona Lisa

Grilled Cheese! How yummy!

Garrett's daring dinner of escargots... Which he claims were delicious

I had to post this Lunch before the Louvre

and last but not least as we can't forget about this Chocolat

Enjoy everyone!

  1. Hi All!! Thanks, Justin, for posting the awesome pictures - it all looks amazing! Lydia did the escargot remind you of the "I Love Lucy" episode? :) How's your knee with all of the walking and Medieval dancing? Can't wait to see all of your pictures and hear your stories. Don't forget to get the recipe(s) for Tanner when you cook on Monday. Have a fabulous couple more days - can't wait to see you!! Love you lots and praying for you - Mom

Hi Lydia and the rest of the France trippers. Someone is doing a great job taking and posting your pictures. They are beautiful and informative for the most part and document where you have been and what you saw. Combine them all and put them on a CD for everyone: what an awesome task for someone to take on as an everlasting means of remembering the good times you all had in France. How is your knee doing Lydia with all the walking you are doing? We saw in one of the group photos that you had your knee brace on. Hope all is OK there. Tomorrow is the 4th of July and we will be celebrating our independance. We will be watching the fireworks over the lake; what are your plans if any (no fireworks please)? Three more days and you will be home, is that sweet or what. We continue to pray for you every day and miss you lots. Jared misses you also, we can tell by talking to him.
We love you. Nan and Pa in the Irish Hills

If I was over there with the group I would be able to post more info about the sights and places they have been, but unfortunately I'm not. So its up to the group over there to post that for you guys, I'm sorry just wanted to clear up confusion etc.

To Justin Riege from Lydia's Nan and Pa,

Hi Justin. We have never met and we are really sorry that you were unable to go to France
with the rest of the group from school. Unfortunately, our plans don't always work out the way we intended but you are doing a super job on this blog site with the material that you are being given. Who would have done this if you were in France? Thank you for clearing up any confusion regarding the sights/places they have been and you have nothing to be sorry for. Thanks for your blog. From Lydia's Nan and Pa
