Happy 4th of July and Independence Day to Lydia, Madame White and all her France traveling companions. Did you sample any French wine today at the Plou & Fils Vineyard on your tour there? Was it pretty good if you did? How was the French cooking lesson and dinner? What did you cook and did you eat what you cooked and was it really good and will you be able to cook it for your parents when you get back home and will you want to? Only 2 more days and you will be heading home to your loved ones. Will you be ready to leave or could you stay for the rest of the Summer? Have you made friends with any French students that you would consider being a pen-pal with? It will be tough saying goodby to France as you lift off the runway at the airport but maybe someday you may be able to return and spend more time there. Have a safe and pleasent trip home. Our love to all. From Lydia's Nan and PA

  3. What a bittersweet day this must be for all of you - knowing today is your last day in France but also knowing you have your family and loved ones anxiously waiting for you to come home. Have a fabulous last day - take it all in!! I can't wait to hear your stories and see your pictures - if only you could bring home the sounds and smells, too :) Have a safe flight home tomorrow, you are all in our prayers. I can't wait to give you a hug, Lyds!
    I love you - Mom
